Many web sites now place an interactive, clickable online calendar on their home page, as an easy tool for their regular return visitors to check schedules and upcoming events.
An interactive calendar on website is very useful, in particularly for websites with a large group of regular and repeat visitors, such as a sports club, an education institution, or an online directory which require a calendar of events for listing of shows, movies, ticket sales for community luncheon, venue, conference and exhibitions, etc.
If you are an experienced HTML or Javascript programmer, you could create a calendar of events page manually. However an interactive and regularly updated online calendar on your website could always be helpful and save you lots of work.
For example, you might have a special team meeting on the first Monday of every month. If you setup your event page manually, you would need to manually create and go through multiple calendar web pages, and mark down each date for the next few months, which is very time consuming and tedious task.
On the other hand, most website calendar software would allow you to simply enter a rule to define a repeated event. You simply need to define a rule for a repeat event once, and have it automatically applied and displayed correctly on your website calendar for all future weekes, months or years.
Your web site visitors can scroll through the calendar to see events in the coming months or even years, and if additional information are entered, they can click on a date to see the full details.
If you have repeat visitors check your website often for upcoming events, functions, concerts, trade shows etc, then adding an online calendar to your website will certainly give a very useful tool to them to find date specific information easier and quicker.
An website event calendar can be done in various ways. Many websites install event calendar script developed using PHP, or PERL programming language.
The advantage of these script based calendar is that they are usually open source code which can be modified by experienced web programmers for seamless integration with an existing website. And once installed, website administrator can update calendar information thru a control panel.
However PHP or Perl script coding is not easy to learn for everyone. Most business web site owners are not programmers, and the cost would become too high to hire a web programmer just to install a website calendar.
That's why flash calendar component has became more and more popular in recent years. A flash calendar often provides a high-tech look and feel, with smooth graphics and animations. And inserting a flash calendar to a website is much easier than modifying a script based calendar.
User can easily add, edit or remove calendar entries without any programming --- as flash calendar usually comes with a XML file for user to update calendar data by using a simple text editor without any scripting.
There are also software for generating website calendar easily, which usually comes with many pre-designed calendar skins and a WYSIWYG editor. Users can easily define their events, select a calendar template, set calendar title and headers, and then generate the HTML code automatically for copy and paste to his web page.

The Chewa People
The Chewa or Chicewa are of Bantu origin and are a south-central African people group who reside mainly in Malawi with a scattering of people throughout Zambia and Zimbabwe. Originally from Zaire and Congo this people group moved southwards to escape disease and wars going on throughout the country.
History:
From the 1400's to the 1700's the Chewa had established and ruled over most of the predominate kingdoms of Malawi and it was during the early 1700's that the Portuguese came into contact with the Chewa. As other people groups have migrated to Malawi the Chewa have stood out and distinguished themselves from the others by their language, tattoos, and society's. The Chewa stand out in sharp contrast to other African cultures, and even in modern times have managed to retain and carry on the traditional aspects of their culture.
Religion:
The Chewa believe that god lives on a mountain on the border between Malawi and Mozambique. This god created everything and in oblivious recognition of his creation. The Chewa also hold t a form of ancestor/spirit worship in which through dance the spirits of men and animals intermingle and contact each other. A persons ability to dance reflects their spiritual ability and motivations.
Another integral part of connection with the spirit world in the life of the Chewa is participation in secret societies. A participant in these societies is known as a Gule. Especially during the month of July there is the peak season for the Gule. During this time young men who are Gules dress is animal or ancestral like costumes. When dressed like this they are considered to be in an animal state and no one should try to approach them. If by accident someone was to approach a Gule they would quickly drop money on the ground for them as protection against being taken by the Gule to the cemetery to undergo ritual rites.
Economy:
The Chewa are an agricultural based society, and farming is the primary income generator. The village headman or chief determines how much and where the land is dispersed among the people of the village, so the land's ownership is constantly changing. Maize and tobacco are the primary crops produced and used for sale.

The Canvas Of The Society
My intensive research for a story in a video project enabled me to find a very inspiring and heart-breaking work of Joey Velasco (March 18, 1967 - July 20, 2010). The message of the painting delivered a deep impact to everyone. His painting taught me how to appreciate and value life.
Through his creativity of canvas painting, his sincerity for the welfare of the society was expressed. On our society, this social cancer is killing us slowly but we prefer to disregard it by competing each other to survive. We are aware for this situation but we are blinded by our personal interests.
Joey Velasco's work emphasized the real picture of our society on its downside. The depressing sighs of people in the eyes of every children in the painting defined as poverty, echoed to every soul but were never heard. It is precisely depicted on his obra, "The Last Supper" where it delivers social relevance by painting street children instead of apostles with Jesus. The children in the painting possessed "colorful" stories of their own.
They picture out something we should look upon. They do need our compassion since they are known as our hope in the future. Why are we keeping them closer to risks and social injustice? Why can't we afford to accommodate them and preserve their rights to live and get educated to lessen the percentage of poverty?
If we all helped a little, maybe these children wouldn't grow up to be heart hardened adults. I don't know how much it will help but doing nothing will hurt.
So we can't give enough to solve the poverty in the Philippines. I can't give enough. Not long after I came here I gave a child what I had in my pocket. I had no idea what I was giving. The child scoffed at my gift and it hardened my heart. The ungrateful child's reaction was poor but so was mine. I need to do better.
I even feel peer pressure not to help at all. To heck with that pressure. We need to do what is right.
Looking back at the painting, can you reach out for others who are in the grass root level of the society? Will you help or just stare for the rest of your life? The cancer of the society painted in the canvas may not affect you economic status today but you are still responsible for the generations next to you.

The role of accountants in todays society
When we think of accountants, we think of people in black suits armed with a calculator, surrounded by numbers and receipts. But what is the exact role of an accountant? An accountant is a practitioner of accountancy, whose main role is to keep, audit, and inspect the financial records of individuals or business concerns and to prepare financial and tax reports.
People seem to misunderstand the importance of accountants in setting up and the maintenance of a successful business. They are just not people in the background who worry about your finances. They have many tasks at hand to ensure the smooth running of your entire business. They help you make decisions about resource allocation within the company.
Here are some of the roles accountants play in a company or business.
General Bookkeeping
Accountants have to ensure that all the financial records of the business are in order. They are responsible for generating standard financial reports and documents and provide assistance in all aspects of the business such as filing bank accounts of the business, tackling a payment system to client and a salary system for employees. So, accountants pretty much have a say in the running of all aspects of the business.
Tax Planning
One thing we are sure of in life is taxes. No matter what business we set up, this is something that needs the tedious experience of an accountant. Accountants provide the business with a comprehensive tax plan, to maximise business tax exemptions (thus maximise profits). So accountants help you save a ton of money actually! Also, all the work of dealing with taxes is far too cumbersome and troublesome for a non specialist to take care of. By hiring an accountant to look into these matters, you will spare yourself the time and worry, which will make you focus more on running the business.
Strong rapport and technology savvy
A good accountant must have strong links with major sectors in the business community. One must be able to perform such functions to be able to make a positive difference in the overall performance of your business organization. An accountant should also have the working knowledge and understanding of various accounting and financial software applications and business solution, which are most suitable to your business.
Francis Clark also offers a broad range of accountants services which includes wealth management, corporate advice, personal taxation, company auditing in addition to accountant services.

How Acoustic Panels Can Improve Your Home Theater Experience
When low-end stereo manufacturers began putting cassette players, record turntables, radio tuners and amplifiers all in one plastic box, real audiophiles would tout the superiority of component systems. With a component system, each individual part could be selected for its quality and its ability to combine with the other pieces to create a good sound system. What someone forgot to tell most people was that one of the most important single components for a sound system is the room itself.
The size, layout and all the items within the room will affect the sound of your home theater system. The paint on the walls, the furniture, the windows and everything else influences the acoustics of the room. Most people don't consider this when paying thousands of dollars for equipment, huge screens, loge seats and other trimmings of a real theater. If you want the best fidelity and sound experience, you need to know how acoustic panels can improve your home theater experience.
Room dynamics
A modern home, with its high ceiling and hard surfaces, provides an inferior acoustic enviornment. There are sound reflections to consider, as well as the dampening (sound deadening) effects of different materials. There are also such entities as standing waves, sound distortions that exist like invisible swirling statues in your theater space because of the specifics of the room size, makeup and interior reflective surfaces. It can be quite the acoustical nightmare.
Now, other considerations such as soundproofing are related to this topic but are properly dealt with in other articles, and/or by trained professionals. Soundproofing will ensure that the sound from inside the room does not leak out, and that sound from outside does not make its way in. However, some of the basic soundproofing steps are part and parcel of your initial home theater room design. This can help you from the start in what amounts to the challenge of building a room-in-a-room, your isolated and sound-controlled home theater space.
Reflections, absorption
A room full of hard, reflective surfaces will produce an echo-filled, somewhat harsh sound, as opposed to the dullness created by surfaces that are soft and absorptive. Consider a room with every surface made of processed wood, ceramic tile, concrete ceilings and gypsum partitions. This is ideal if you want reflectivity and echo, and not so good for intelligible dialog and full-bandwidth music. Every increase in sound level (decibels) creates additional reverberation and echo. If you were to start out this way and begin to insert soft furnishings and material surfaces, even willy-nilly, you would immediately hear a different as you did so. It should be apparent, then, that adding to this approach some simple math and acoustic principles would successfully balance your sound.
Obviously, optimum results would require that your home theater design balance the surfaces in the room, and this means adding sound absorption. You achieve this by stopping the noise reflections and controlling the reverberation. You would use upholstered furniture, acoustic panels, mounted and freestanding soundboards and carpets to accomplish this. Of course, balance means more than just having both hard and soft surfaces in the room, it has a great deal to do with positioning with regard to speaker placement. A pleasing overall home theater sound results from a combination of surfaces, positions, absorption and reflection.
Rules of thumb
These general rules will help, but every room and sound system is a unique combination of various elements. Start with the general and move carefully to more and more specific treatments of your room. If you are not comfortable making standing wave calculations or balancing acoustic elements, by all means get some help. The more you are spending on your system, the more you owe it to yourself (and the family) to make sure it is done right. Now, some tips:
- Carpeting is especially important between the front speakers and the listeners, as it catches the first reflective sounds.
- -Acoustical wall paneling and/or curtains near to the front speakers also help.
- Do not paint acoustic panels, as it reduces its effectiveness by making it more reflective.
- Soft furnishings (sofas, cushions) contribute to echo absorption.
- Typically, the ceiling should be a hard surface so it can carry sound from front to back and diffuse the surround signals around the room.
- The average home theater design should have at least 35% of the total room surface area absorptive (floor, wall and ceiling area), and most absorptive surfaces should be in the front half of the theater.
- With the rear of your room having more reflective surfaces, sound diffuses better (again, the surround signals, especially) from the rear speakers.
You will need to experiment, and try positioning your soft furnishings in various spots around the room. Decibel meters and other tools can assist you in getting your room fine-tuned, but once again, if you are feeling in over your head, get some good help to get it done right the first time. You will save money in the long run.

Achieving A Better Mindset Via Team Building Events
Without the right mindset, your organisation is lost and you're free falling in the corporate world. That's a rather dangerous situation because it could possibly cause you to lose your grip on your organisation. With the right mindset, you can keep everything in order.
When utilising team building events as a way ensure your organisation stays in check, mindset is a large part of all of the activities. The elements and advantages of corporate team building events include:
Decreasing frustration
Building confidence
Empowering individuals
Experiencing the power of brilliant execution
Increasing productivity
Increasing trust in one another
All of these are incredibly integral parts of mindset.
But what exactly is mindset? Well, it is how you go into the job every single day. Instead of going in to work each day, worrying about what is going to happen and feeling like a pawn on an oversized chess board, it is going in with a aim in mind.
In this case, the aim is to go into work and accomplish something. If every employee comes to work with the aim to help the organisation grow, the organisation would excel at incredible rates. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case, which is why you have to do something to put everyone on the same page. When everyone is on the same page, mindset as a group improves.
Here are the things that you want to accomplish with a positive mindset
The entire group has a common aim, which means everyone will work together
Positivity will circulate during the workplace
Communication will improve
Ideas will blossom for the advantage of the business
Individuals with a poor mindset are more probable to stray away from the group. They have the mentality that they can't accomplish anything in a group, but are better working on their own. They may tend to reject the notion of the team. Corporate activities that focus on team building teach employees why this isn't a great idea.
Company activities also provide a way to take a break and get to know the people that each employee is working with. This does wonders for mindset and the overall mentality of the staff.
But even after these activities help the employees adjust their mindset, you, the manager, have to maintain it. Rewards systems, encouragement, activities that bring about motivation, and innovative ideas can help the employees stay on their toes. If they get too settled in what they are doing without any innovation, they can become bored with what they are doing and everything falls apart. So keep it fresh for them.
In the end, you'll find that your organisation is far more profitable, your turnover has reduced significantly owing to increased employee satisfaction, everyone will share ideas, and the organisation will carry on to evolve with the times. Always be open, supportive, and let your teams know that they are doing a great job. And think of company team building events as rewards for your employees.
Clinical Research - A Fast Growing Industry
A multinational and multidisciplinary industry, Clinical Research is the systematic scientific study to understand the effects, side effects, and risks of a new drug on humans. In India alone, the industry is about to reach the staggering size of Rs 5,000 crores by 2010 which outlines the vast potential and job prospects it offers over the next few years. The field of clinical trials and research in India gained attention from major players all over the world because of its over 1 billion population size with a large ratio of patient population that are seen as potential subjects by the scientists for various studies. Moreover, India also offers a large talent pool of English-speaking trained doctors and certified professionals in all the related fields as well as world-class infrastructure in its hospitals and research laboratories at very economical rates.
Clinical trials are usually conducted in four phases. In the initial stage, drugs are tested on healthy and informed volunteers to study behavior of the medicine, followed by trials on informed patients to test its effects and side effects. In the third phase, a large number of volunteers are administered the drug and kept under close supervision to generate statistics and data for regulatory and licensing authorities. Phase IV trials are conducted by the company after its limited commercial launch to monitor how thousands of patients, prescribed the drug by their doctor, are reacting to the medicine and study any unforeseen situations that might occur.
The strong growth shown by pharmaceutical companies in India and abroad and the technological and scientific advancements has given unprecedented rise to expenditure on research and development of new drugs. The processes too have quickened up and the industry is in need of trained and qualified personnel who are well aware of latest trends in the industry, and can design, handle and monitor all drug development and clinical trial projects with ease. The need for professionals, who understand the stringent rules and regulations outlined by the government and regulatory authorities and also ensure safety of human subjects and volunteers, is also on a steep rise.
Asia's second biggest player in the field, India offers easy patient enrollment and high quality data analysis that have made a great contribution in the discovery of innovative drugs at a global level. It has also cemented its position as a global hub for clinical trials and research. Thus, the field has emerged as an attractive career option for life science, biotechnology, medicine or computer science graduates and postgraduates.
Clinical Research Industry offers packages ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 40,000 per month to a fresher, depending on his or her qualification and post. An exponential rise on an annual basis has also been noticed in the salary of Clinical Research professionals globally, depending on their performance and years of experience in the industry. Whether you want to join as a project manager, pharmacovigilance supervisor or clinical data manager, specific certificate and diploma courses in the industry from a good and reputed institute will multiply your chances of landing a suitable job soon.

The Challenging Modern Society Issue- Height Discrimination
It is sorry how discrimination are present in this world, even in these modern times, be it racial discrimination, sex discrimination, or height discrimination. There is no wonder to why smart marketing experts take advantage of this problem to come out having all types of products declaring to help people maximize their height. Discrimination depending on height is named heightism, and sad to say this is maybe one of the most blatant type of discrimination that individuals get away with.
Height discrimination could possibly be either to short persons or to abnormally tall individuals, although according to surveys and researches, short people have it tougher as compared to taller individuals. It is tested through research that taller individuals earn more when compared with shorter individuals, in actual fact, according to a research, when asked couples of identical twins, it indicates that the taller one earns more as compared to the shorter one. This is more of a psychology and sociology issue more than anything else. Height discrimination puts a massive impact on society in many areas.
The factors above are evidence that height discrimination plays a part to the influence on the world of business. Other than the above study, the University of North Carolina and the University of Florida created a research in where they discovered that for every single inch in difference from one man to another, the taller man earns $789 dollars average extra in a year. They are also able to come out with a statistic that taller MBA graduates are offered 12% additional starting salary in comparison with their shorter comrades.
Height discrimination not merely influences short people business wise, nonetheless it also influences them when it comes to relationship, love life and marriage. A research by the University of Groningen indicates that tall in height is a significant trait when it concerns sexual appeal. Nevertheless, this influences mostly to adult men, as in contrast, a further study indicates that man discover taller women intimidating, thus preferring shorter women as mates.
In some nations, especially in Asia, short persons are regarded as to be unattractive, and taller people are usually the favorites when it comes to choosing a love spouse. The height discrimination in certain places in Asia is so severe to the stage that some individuals would even go through surgeries and cosmetic enhancements and also body mutilation to be able to grow to be taller.
Height discrimination is also rampant in politics, where a analysis illustrates that between the year 1904 to 1984 in United States, out of all the elected presidents, merely two of them were shorter as compared to the average men height of the country. Even Robert Reich, a former Secretary of Labor commented how heightism affects politics in society as the majority of politicians are tall and broad shouldered.
Even in sports, height discrimination is obvious. Most promoters believe that taller and bigger athletes are much more entertaining, and this hurts the shorter athletes career. The heightism in sports is another cause why short athletes are so pressured they look towards growth hormones and steroids to aid them grow taller and get bigger.
While the impact of height discrimination on people can be diminished by utilizing quite a few renowned techniques, such as height insoles or fashion tricks, it would be much better if men and women all around the world are ready to acknowledge people on how they really are, and not judge them based by their looks, weight, height, skin color, or religion.

Facing The Issue Of Over Popullated Ares And Hence The Enviornmental Pollution
Though the current ratings and standards are focused on green commercial buildings, developers and experts believe that the move in the future will be towards energy efficient houses.
In the future, homebuyers will drive the growth of green buildings. More than developers, buyers are stressing on these values. Demand for green homes is definitely on the rise in the Indian market. Simply saying that a project is green house architecture is not good enough for buyers. Before we do anything, we need to follow the global standards. The related concepts of sustainable development and sustainability are integral to green commercial building. Sustainable development is a pattern of "resource use that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for future generations to come".
The related concepts of sustainable development (a pattern of "resource use that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for future generations to come) and sustainability are integral to green commercial building. Though the costs of building an energy efficient house or office building may initially be more expensive than building a regular one, it will eventually pay for itself by saving you money on electricity, water, and other bills. This is because effective green commercial building increase productivity and use less energy and water than normal homes do. Green house architecture also has improved occupant health as a result of the improved indoor air quality. Green homes and offices can also reduce environmental impacts by reducing storm water runoff and the heat island effect. Practitioners of eco-friendly building also usually try and produce a final product with ecological, as well as aesthetic harmony between the structure and its surrounding environment.
Building energy efficient building is the concept in which it is tried to reduce the effect of construction on people and enviornment. Green house architecture includes conservation and efficient use of natural resources as also the use of indigenous and recycled material to optimizing the finances. Optimal use of sunlight and natural wind flow pattern are an integral part of Green house architecture. The structural designs aim to incorporate appliances and electrical devices, which are energy efficient such as fluorescent lights and solar heaters. Structural designs incorporate concepts such as onsite energy generation of wind, biomass and water. Energy friendly buildings are the best source to save your money as well as the source for saving the neviornment.
An example of a self sustaining ecosystem could be waste water recycled for gardens as well as organic wastes generated converted into manure in onsite compost pits. Reduction in the use of synthetic materials is one of the initiatives of Green commercial building. Toxic fumes generated by aging synthetic paints are a health hazard. Formaldehyde, a component of some synthetic building insulation material is a carcinogen with known health side effects. Green house Architecture reduces the use of such material so as to create healthier environment. All this requires concerted effort and planned initiatives at national or international levels.
The serious environmental conditions facing the world requires a sustained effort by the building industry to make a difference so that they can create more and more energy efficient houses. That difference can be made by adopting Green commercial Architecture as the standard for the future of construction.

The Importance Of Isopropanol In Our Society
What is isopropanol? From the sound of the term, the first thing that may come to your mind is that it is one of those kinds of alcohol. Indeed, it is considered as a secondary alcohol and it is also known as isopropopyl alcohol and abbreviated as IPA. It is basically a colorless, flammable chemical compound that has a strong odor. But more than this definition, it plays a role in our day-to-day living and in our society for that matter.
Your rubbing alcohol, your perfume and your paint thinner, they all contain isopropanol. Moreover, the use of isopropyl alcohol can be as practical as cleaning your screen monitor, removing smudges and dirt from your mobile phone, removing unwanted ink mark from your white board, or erasing sticky labels. You can also make use of it to make those worn records look new.
One main use for IPA is as an industrial solvent. A solvent is defined as a liquid substance that functions as a dissolving agent or that has the ability to dissolve another substance. The chemical compound is a solvent for many different products. These products include topically applied preparations or cosmetic products in general, including skin lotions, hair dye rinses, permanent wave lotions, hair tonics, skin cleaners, deodorants, nail polishes, shampoos, and perfumes.
It is also a solvent for industrial products just like polymers (e.g. phenolic varnishes, nitrocellulose lacquers). It is also acts as a process solvent, for the extraction and purification of natural products, examples of which include vegetable and animal oils and fats, waxes, resins, flavorings, colors, vitamins, alginates, and kelp. Another function of IPA is as an aerosol solvent for veterinary and medical products in general, such as foot fungicides, first aid and medical vapor sprays, antiseptics, dehorning sprays, and house and garden insecticides.
In biology, the chemical product can be a cost-effective replacement for the more expensive ethanol as well as a relatively non-toxic replacement for formaldehyde and other synthetic preservatives. When it is used for specimens in solution, concentrations of 90-99% are optimal, but concentrations as low as 70% can be used in emergencies. Another importance of IPA is that it is an additive in gasoline, thus preventing fuel lines from freezing in the winter.
As IPA is a chemical product, it cannot be helped for people to ask what its environmental implications are. One advantage about this chemical substance is that it rapidly biodegrades in water and undergoes photo-oxidation quickly in the atmosphere. Thus, public and wildlife exposure to it is limited. It is not anticipated to persist into soil because of its rapid evaporation and its potential to bio-accumulate in marine organisms is low.
With regards to health issues, isopropyl alcohol poses a low health risk. Overexposure to it may cause irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat, and may cause central system depression. But, these are generally mild and end shortly when exposure is terminated. On the other hand, there is this so-called isopropanol overdose which takes place when a large amount of the substance is accidentally or intentionally swallowed. The symptoms of the overdose include abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, throat pain, rapid heart rate, and unconsciousness. Thus, it is very important to place products that contain IPA in their secure and proper places.
Speaking of safety, isopropyl alcohol is highly flammable. Thus, it must be kept away from heat and open flame. It should be stored in well-ventilated areas, and it must be used only in places where ignition sources, such as matches, have been removed. Its containers may explode when heated; hence, they must be properly disposed.

It also provides employment to more than 1.5 million people and is considered to be a developing industry. Paper products have been in constant demand during the past several decades which has led to the further growth of the industry in many ways.
Various types of paper products are used in many ways including bags, cups, plates, books, envelopes and so forth. The availability of raw materials is one of the most important factors that concern the paper industry. With the growing destruction of forests, authentic raw materials are becoming scarce which has led to the increased import of raw materials from neighbouring countries.
The Growth of Paper Industry in India
Due to the wide spread demand for paper products, non conventional methods are utilised for producing different types of raw materials required for the production of paper. The paper industry is now further identified as three types mainly the agro based, forest based and other varieties such as waste materials, market pulp and fibre.
Today the paper industry has around 515 units which manufacture various types of paper products. The Indian industry is the fifteenth largest industry in the world. The high costs of production, concentration of industries in one place are the various bottlenecks of this industry.
The paper industry has also witnessed a considerable demand for products with the shift in consumer behavioural patterns. The use of plastics has declined considerably due to many health and environmental issues. This has in turn increased the consumption of different types of paper products such as stationery items, photo frames, kites, magazines, bank notes, catalogs, playing cards, tissue paper, albums and directories.
Different types of products can also be made with the use of recycled raw materials. Today the process of using recycled raw materials for the manufacture of various paper products are encouraged to reduce the ill-effects of deforestation. Waste materials such as rags, jute, cotton and straw is used for manufacturing various types of products.
The paper industry also utilises hand made paper which is quite popular in the country. Known to provide employment to more than thousands in the rural areas, the industry is a major source of employment. The hand made paper is durable and lasts longer. It can be used to manufacture various types of handmade materials.
Today the government has introduced several policies to support the paper industry. Better manufacturing technologies, reduction in the import duties and production cost, availability of better raw materials are some of the measures taken by the government to improve the production of paper products.
In spite of facing several challenges, the industry has attained considerable growth in different parts of the country. Paper importers have known to import raw materials only for specific types of paper. Today there are a number of industries that manufacture paper and are known to be the leading industries of the country.

Thrived because of shoes because shoes and bumpy because of shoes and the growth of floating up Shen 20 years?? Ideological emancipation learn from East line
Wenzhou shoemaking has 2000 years of history, since the reform and opening up, the Wenzhou people picked up the ancestral property. 80s of last century, Wenzhou and Wenzhou in Wenzhou shoes became synonymous with economic stage.
A fire into the bottom However, in August 8, 1987 in Hangzhou WuLin of a "Wenzhou shoes fire" incident, the Wenzhou economy fully into the trough.

Wenzhou shoemaking has 2000 years of history, since the reform and opening up, the Wenzhou people picked up the ancestral property. 80s of last century, Wenzhou and Wenzhou in Wenzhou shoes became synonymous with economic stage.

Automobile Industry Of India
India has a huge automobile industry. The country ranks 4thin Asia and 9th in the world as the world's largest automobile Industry. India has an annual production of approximately about 2.3 million units.
Presently, India is the world's largest manufacturer of tractors, second-largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, and fifth-largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles.
The automobile industry in India gained momentum after the liberalization in 1991. The industry has continued to grow consistently and is increasingly becoming competent in the global market. In the recent past, India has seen an upsurge in the automobile industry thanks to its relaxed restriction on the investment policies in the sector. India's overall economic growth has also played a significant role in attracting foreign investors in India to invest in the automobile sector of the country.
The automobile sector in India has displayed great advances in relation to the utilization of new technologies and being flexible in the wake of the changing business scenario.
Both the central government of India and its state governments have taken several measures to draw investments in the sector and further accelerate the growth of the industry in the country. The government has liberalized the norms for foreign investment in the sector. Presently the government permits 100% direct foreign investment in the sector.
The government has also undertaken several policy measures and incentives to boost investment in the automobile sector of India. The most prominent policy is Auto Policy, which was drawn in 2000. This policy basically aims to establish a globally competitive automobile industry in India and contribute to the Indian economy.
The important objectives of the Auto Policy are:
1.Making India a global source for auto components
2.Aiding the development of vehicles that can be driven by alternative energy sources
3.Developing domestic safety methods that are on par with international standards
4.Steering India's software industry into the automobile technology
5.Making India an international hub for manufacturing small and cheap passenger cars
6.Being the global center for manufacturing two-wheelers
7.Ensuring a balanced transition to open trade at a minimal risk
Thus, this ambitious Auto Policy of India aims not only to make India grow in the sector but also attract huge investment in the country.
The Department of Heavy Industry, which falls under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, is the leading agency responsible for promoting the growth and development of the automobile industry in India.
The department assists the industry's growth through policy initiatives, providing technological collaboration, upgrading, and R&D facilities to the automobile manufacturers.
Also, the growth of Indian middle class and their increased purchasing power supported by strong macro-economic fundamentals have been instrumental in attracting major auto manufacturers in India. Several global players, including leading automobile manufacturers Suzuki and Honda, have invested heavily in India and have managed to tap the Indian market.
All these factors and the initiatives of the government is an indication that the Indian automobile Industry has been emerging as a new sector that has unlimited potential for growth and has promise to offer valuable returns on investments. The automobile sector has not only been meeting the requirements of the domestic market but has been penetrating deep into the international market.

Courier Work And The Oil Industry
There probably isn't a great deal that the courier industry can do to affect the deliberations of OPEC or the great global markets that define, ultimately, the price of oil once it reaches our shores. We also probably have even less influence over the price of petrol and diesel at the pumps, given the vast amounts of tax and duty that the government puts onto it.
Will Your Vote Count?
Yes, in theory, we can influence the latter at the ballot box every four or five years, but no party stands, or has ever stood, on a platform of making huge cuts in fuel duties. Therefore, vote for who you like - but it is unlikely to make much, if any, difference to the price you're paying in the garages.
What Does it Mean?
For the courier and haulage industries, excluding those of us that are driven entirely by pedal power, the cost of fuel has been a serious and ongoing problem since the first fuel crisis of the early 1970s. There are two aspects to the headache this causes our industry:
Our costs are driven upwards, sometimes unpredictably, and we are forced to pass these on to our clients (with all the ill-feeling and barrages of criticism that attempts at price increases bring with them);
For reasons that are unclear to many in the courier business, in some quarters the problem is not perceived to be the ever-increasing cost of fuel due to tax but instead that, somehow, our industry is not green enough.
The link between these two subjects is, at best, tentative. The vast majority of the price of fuel for the average courier is attributable to government tax. The more successful a courier business is, then the more fuel it will typically need. The more fuel it consumes, the more taxation income the government will receive. Therefore, constantly lecturing the industry to be greener by burning less fuel appears to be incomprehensible.
Isn't that, in effect, the same as saying you should be less successful? Hardly a slogan or philosophical viewpoint that is likely to help the economy recover and confidence to grow!It is also rather unclear exactly what can be done on the subject.
Is There a Solution?
Electric and hybrid vehicles are in the process of development and some are now becoming widely available; however, the average courier has even less control over the speed of technological innovation in these areas than they do over the price of crude oil.
There is no doubt that muscle power is extremely green, however, even the best cyclists are unlikely to be able to contribute much to (e.g.) express parcel deliveries over very long distances and to destinations that are not close to a railway service.
Some cynics may be inclined to believe that the apparently endless lectures on the need to be greener are perhaps designed, in part, to deflect attention away from the mountain of cost that our industry (and the wider economy) has to live with in terms of government fuel taxes. What some people in our industry would prefer to see, is rather greater emphasis on understanding:
What the true negative impact is of high fuel duties on the economy (including, of course, the courier business);
Exactly what the government is doing to stimulate the faster arrival of cleaner technology to replace our existing dependence upon carbon fuels.
Of course, those same cynics might also say that if society were able to change to entirely green electric-powered vehicles overnight, the government would have a financial crisis as their tax revenues disappeared.
So, for the poor old courier, the arrival of new green technology is unlikely to lead to lower costs in the medium to long-term. We may very well find that there is a sudden painful increase in the cost of the electricity bills as someone, somewhere, decides that all that lost fuel tax revenue has to be replaced!

Children Can Learn About Solar Energy Too
Children these days can learn about a variety of things. We have more methods to teach them about solar energy. This source is going to be their long term and will depend on how we take care of it in todays world. Energy could be anywhere the sun shines and you are able to feel and see the warmth. energy can heat water, heat homes, schools, companies, and it can create solar power. Teaching children these days how energy works and how we can use it wisely will make sure that our enviornment long term and theirs is going to be protected.
First of all, learning about the dangerous affects of our power usage these days is essential for them to comprehend why there ought to be more methods to create power. Simply because the electrical power that we use these days comes from non-renewable resources, because of this, we are setting ourselves up for a large fall. When that source runs out we will then have to rely on some other source to supply us with our energy. Scientist are working these days to make sure that when we do run out of that source we will be in a good solid position to switch over to the new source without missing a beat.
The big concern is that we must not wait until our energy source we use today is not completely gone when we do switch. We need to be in a position to switch to a new energy source in the near future and to be able to preserve what we have left of the source we utilize now. One more issue with our power production these days is that it's dangerous to the atmosphere. It pollutes the air and will eventually make it impossible for us to use the sun has a natural solar energy source. We can't afford to lose this essential natural resource. So that we can save our atmosphere we need to teach the children how we can all join together to conserve their energy for their future and their childrens future.
Solar energy can generate alternative power using natural resources and man made solar sources which will attract the solar power to the source. So that we can make this happen we need to be in a position to discover energy sources that aren't costly but can supply the energy that we require. A standard house can benefit greatly by switching over to solar energy. It's simple to do. Also in constructing a new home you would be able to construct it utilizing solar energy as a method to naturally create electrical power to your home, heat your water, along with other functions that would be controlled by utilizing solar energy. In the long run, we benefit by not paying for a source that's slowly taking away from our natural resource. Our children will be rewarded for our careful planning.
All ages can benefit from conserving energy but it needs to begin now so that we all can benefit in the future. Teaching the children the way to conserve and save energy and how we need to come up with a method to conserve the solar energy in the long run in order to supply heating, water, along with other necessities in big quantities rather than by individual houses, which is how we do it these days. One day we may not need to run power lines through fields, streets and yards because we will all have solar power boxes in the back yard instead.

Creating A Favorable Work Environment
Sure we all have our periods of good productivity at work, and times of less productive output. Regardless of your position in the office, it is possible to increase your effectiveness while at work by creating the proper environment. Its true, creating a favorable environment around your desk can lead to a better mindset, well being, and overall production at work.
Decades ago, companies like Hewlett Packard found that the use of color therapy would promote higher production levels as well as fewer health risks and decreased sick days in their employees. Along with removing the "drab" from their workplace, they increased the health of their work force. They had their lounges, foyers, and cubicles painted a soft plum shade and placed soft off-white office furniture throughout the entire building; thereby, increasing employee performance and their edge in the workplace.
Similar tests conducted today show that employees confined to office spaces for eight to twelve hours a day have fewer sick days, increased problem solving skills, and better idea generation when fresh flowers or plants are present. That's right, Mother Nature still knows best. It appears we are at our brightest and best in the presence of nature. Maybe it's the fresh air plants generate stimulating our brains or maybe just the colors. Whatever it is, flowers and plants give workers an edge in productivity.
Scientific studies have been conducted at Texas A&M University showing that skills in problem solving and creativity were increased with the addition of plants and flowers. The study used both men and women and was conducted over an eight month period. The results transcended gender and age and showed increased innovative thinking, greater solutions formulated, and a really great benefit: Higher motivation toward achievement.
A study conducted at the University of New Jersey sited that, "When gifts of equal monetary value were given, people had a more favorable response to the gift of flowers." The folks just felt good all over days after receiving floral gifts. There's another benefit; the affects of receiving flowers lasts for days.
It seems simple really, but as in all things, the simplest things are sometimes the hardest to grasp. Put a vase of flowers on your assistant's desk and reap the benefits of new attitudes, ideas, and productivity. It isn't just a way to get more work out of your employees, it is a way to say, "Thanks for a job well done." It is a way to say, "Welcome to all who enter your doors." Or, maybe it just says, "We are connected to our environment." What ever the message, it will be a positive one.
Motivation and inspiration is something everyone struggles with at work; CEO to the mail room. Flowers have been shown to provide a more favorable work environment. Why not give flowers a try if they work?

Houston's Events and Adventures, the area's hottest and fastest-growing new singles' club, hosts a full calendar of activities each month and they are geared to singles only. Athletic members may play indoor volleyball or go mountain biking on the anthills at Terry Hershey Park. Naturally, Events and Adventures warmly invites new members to the monthly ice breaker; or, if your idea of ice-breaking involves fighting and head-on collisions, you may choose to join E&A for a night with the Houston Aeros Hockey Club. Some members will heed Simon and Garfunkel's old advice, discovering it's all happening at the zoo, and over-worked and under-appreciated professionals will find a little comic relief at A.J. LaHaye's Comedy Hypnosis Show.

Enjoying Fun Corporate Team Building Events With Your Co-workers
True leaders universally realize that the saying "there's no I in team" just isn't so. This is regarding the idea that a team member should put the team's goal and interest before their personal agenda. The problem is that each team member does have his/her own goals and the leader must show each team member how their individual goals fit into and complement the goals of the team.
A distinguished motivational speaker once used the analogy of a train yard filled with various train cars, each filled with value and with an appointed destination, but unable to proceed until the locomotive, or the leader, made a connection to each car in order to move them all forward. The lesson here is that a leader must connect with his team first, otherwise the team will not attain the desired goal or destination as a result of doubt and mistrust.
The corporate world is using team building exercises more often. People use these games to get to know their teammates better, build trust, and improve communication. Each person possesses a unique kind of personality and unique abilities. Team building exercises meld differences of the individuals to create a stronger group. Those with innate leadership abilities will emerge, while dreamers will dream up new concepts and meticulous types will ensure that a task is performed correctly.
Team building exercises may vary from brief and inexpensive activities performed in-house, to lavish excursions at luxury spas. These both have their places in the corporate world and personal budgets. "Two Truths and a Lie" game is an inexpensive and popular exercise. Each participant makes two true statements about themselves and one false statement. The others must determine which statement is true and which is false. People see a new side of their co-workers through this exercise.
The Video Scavenger Hunt is a bit more costly; each team receives a video camera along with a list of things to record, each of which has a certain point value. For example, if a teammate shakes hands with a policeman, the team receives 100 points, or they can receive 150 points if they walk a stranger's dog. People go through a series of activity related questions during a predetermined time limit to figure out who wins.
A tasty team building concept involves pairing teams with culinary experts to learn about teamwork while preparing food. This team building exercise allows members to enjoy themselves while building relationships and communication skills. Once the cook-off contest is over, they get to enjoy the results of their efforts. This is certainly a type of team building exercise that will wet your appetite!
